Hidden Objects Game

magnifying glass, pencil, search-97588.jpg
  1.  Pick any 3 small objects (toys, household items).
  2. Show your child the objects. Then have your child close their eyes and turn around.
  3. Hide one object under a blanket. Have your child open their eyes and ask them which object is missing.
  4. Repeat by hiding the other objects. Try hiding each object more than once, but in a different order.
  5. Then, try hiding two objects.
  6. As skills advance, increase the number of hidden objects to 4 or 5 plus.

Note: I know this seems simple, but it really helps to build the skills of concentration and attention to detail.

TIP:   I like to play this game while waiting for the food at restaurants! (Use the forks, spoons, salt shakers etc.) The children can even take a turn to hide the object.
